Job Description

• Prepare or review periodic consolidated financial statements, financial analysis, management reports and related disclosures or supporting schedules.

• Review reporting packages and discuss project performance or accounting issues and treatments with project team or business units.

• Assist in assessing the financial impact for the adoption of new/change in accounting standards and liaises with external auditors and project team or business units.

• Prepare or review statutory financial statements in accordance with the accounting standards.

• Prepare or review profits tax returns, computations and other statutory reporting including economic substance requirements, country-by-country reporting and BEPS 2.0 etc. and the application forms for Hong Kong tax resident certificate, liaise with external tax representatives where necessary.

• Assist in reviewing budget and rolling forecast through analyzing operating data, comparing with historical results, benchmarking with industry performance and prepare budget summary reports, supplementary breakdown and information for further analysis.

• Assist in building up the configuration and design of Oracle FCCS to align with latest disclosure and reporting requirements, perform the role of system administrator and works closely with external consultant and IT department to facilitate system stability, modification and enhancement.

• Assist in reviewing agreements, reports and financial models for potential investments or divestments and assess the financial impact and related accounting treatment, coordinate with auditors and valuers to complete valuation reports or/and purchase price allocation exercises in order to comply with statutory or group requirements.

• Perform other duties and ad hoc projects as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• 8 years' relevant working experience in accounting with 3 years' experience in managerial role (Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Manager)

• Knowledge on Oracle FCCS or Hyperion consolidation software, and with experience in system implementation and enhancements

• Knowledge on financial modelling

• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua.

• Good team player with good supervisory, interpersonal and communication skills.
