What the role is ?
In this role, you will be one of the key members of the Compensation and Benefits team. You are responsible for the compensation and benefits process and quality deliverables; ensuring well-supported and valued to the team on timely and professional manner.
- Execute payroll and other C&B related transactions accurately and on timely manner.
- Partner with cross-functions to manage regular payroll-related and ad-hoc reporting, including accruals, headcount and budget.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including medical insurance, MPF, leave management, taxation and other employee schemes.
- Liaise with benefits vendors (insurers, eMPF, MPF trustees) to resolve issues and improve service levels.
- Ensure all C&B operations comply with rules and regulations, and company policies etc.
- Support the review and enhancement of C&B policies, guidelines, and procedures to strengthen HR governance.
- Assist in streamlining reporting processes and enhance data quality.
- Assist in managing audits and compliance checks related to payroll MPF, and benefits administration.
- Monitor market trends, regulatory updates, and C&B best practices; provide practical recommendations where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRMS.
- Participate in HR projects, including system enhancements and process improvements.
- Act as a trusted point of contact for employee enquiries related to compensation, payroll, and benefits.
What We look for?
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or any related disciplines.
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in compensation and benefits administration.
- Strong knowledge of Hong Kong Employment Ordinance, MPF regulations, and HR market practices.
- Proficiency in HR and payroll systems (IPL and SAP preferred).
- Detail‑oriented, well‑organized, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills with high attention to detail.
- Proactive, responsible, team player, data and technology driven.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English and Cantonese.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge to offshore payroll (e.g. Bermuda) will be an advantage.
