What the role is?
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting finance system implementation, enhancement initiatives, process redesign, and operational transformation. The successful candidate of Finance team, will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive efficiency, strengthen operating models, and support the delivery of key finance transformation projects.
· Coordinate the development, documentation, and testing of user requirements for finance system changes, enhancements, and AI-related initiatives.
· Manage and support user acceptance testing, including issue identification, defect reporting, follow-up, and timely resolution.
· Assist in redesigning finance processes and operating models to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and control.
· Support the seamless integration of new systems, processes, and tools, while assessing their impact on Finance and relevant stakeholders.
· Work collaboratively with IT and business departments to identify and implement finance system improvements.
· Drive change management, communication, and stakeholder engagement to support successful adoption of new initiatives.
· Support project planning, progress tracking, status reporting, and delivery of key milestones.
· Handle ad hoc assignments and requests from supervisors as required.
Who we look for?
· Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline; professional qualification such as HKICPA, ACCA, or equivalent is preferred.
· Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Big 4 audit/advisory, insurance accounting, finance operations, or finance transformation.
· Experience in finance transformation, system enhancement, process improvement, or end-to-end workflow review is an advantage.
· Knowledge of insurance-related finance systems and tools, including SunSystems, IFRS 17 ETL, and IFRS 17 SAS Subledger System, will be an advantage.
· Self-motivated, independent, proactive, and able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders across different functions and levels.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear, accurate, and audience-appropriate documentation.
· Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and other general Microsoft Office applications.
· Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese including Putonghua.
