What the role is?
In this role, you will play a key role in overseeing the delivery, support, enhancement, and continuous improvement of business-critical applications across back office functions.
· Manage the delivery, support and enhancement of internally developed and business-critical applications across multiple corporate functions.
· Work closely with Finance and Corporate Digital Leads to ensure application stability, performance and continuous improvement.
· Collaborate with business users to gather requirements, analyse business needs and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
· Coordinate system enhancements, releases, testing, deployment activities and incident resolution in a timely and effective manner.
· Act as a key liaison between IT, business units and external vendors to ensure quality delivery and alignment with business priorities.
· Manage vendors and service providers, monitor project timelines and deliverables, and ensure agreed service levels and performance standards are met.
· Oversee user access control, system authorisation processes, documentation and audit trails to support internal governance and compliance requirements.
· Support cloud migration, digital transformation and application modernisation initiatives, including cloud-based and containerisation technologies where applicable.
· Identify opportunities to improve system efficiency, reliability, automation and operational effectiveness.
Who we look for ?
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any related disciplines.
· Minimum 6–10 years of relevant IT experience, preferably in application development, application support or application delivery management.
· Experience in the financial services or insurance industry will be an advantage.
· Solid understanding of the application development and support lifecycle, system integration, API-based architecture and enterprise systems.
· Hands-on exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS, and knowledge of container technologies such as Kubernetes would be advantageous.
· Experienced in managing self-developed applications, low-code/no-code applications, payment systems, IFRS 9 Expected Credit Loss processes or regulatory-related systems is preferred.
· Strong stakeholder management, vendor management, communication and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
· Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese including Putonghua.
