About the role
In this role, the finance specialist will focus on monitoring and analyzing distribution expenses, monthly reports preparation, conducting variance and trend analysis, and offering actionable insights to management. This plays a key role in the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, as well as supporting special finance-related projects.
What is this role?
- Monitor and analyze monthly distribution expenses, identify variances, and provide actionable insights
- Coordinate annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting exercises
- Prepare high-quality financial reports, dashboards, and commentary for management and executive review.
- Support financial analysis of business performance, including variance analysis, trend identification, and forward-looking insights
- Identify areas for process improvement via automation, system implementation, streamlining workflows etc
- Perform any other finance-related duties and special projects as assigned by management
Who we are looking for?
- Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or other professional qualifications such as CPA/ACCA
- Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience, experience gained at insurance industry would be an asset
- Good analytical skills as well as a strong business acumen
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Self-starter, hands-on, detail-minded, flexible and able to work under pressure
- Proficiency in computer skills such as Microsoft Office (MS Excel, Powerpoint, Access and Macro). Experience with Power BI and Anaplan would be an asset.
