What the role is?
- Lead the end-to-end development of strategic and complex learning initiatives, from needs analysis and programme design to delivery, evaluation and continuous improvement.
- Act as a trusted learning partner to senior agency and business leaders, providing recommendations on capability and performance development.
- Lead major product, sales, leadership, onboarding and professional development initiatives.
- Contribute to the overall curriculum strategy and develop cohesive learning journeys for different agency and leadership segments.
- Design and deliver blended learning solutions across classroom, virtual, digital and experiential formats.
- Introduce modern facilitation, behavioural, coaching and learner engagement methodologies.
- Lead cross-functional projects and manage stakeholders, budgets, vendors and resources without direct authority.
- Coach and support trainers, facilitators and business leaders to strengthen their training, facilitation and coaching effectiveness.
- Use learning and business data to measure programme impact and provide recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Ensure that learning programmes meet relevant business, regulatory, compliance and quality requirements.
Who we look for ?
- Degree holder in Business, Finance, Human Resources, Adult Education or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in training and development, sales capability, product development, product marketing or distribution development.
- Strong relevant experience in insurance or financial services is important, preferably gained within agency, brokerage, bancassurance, life insurance or general insurance environments.
- Demonstrated experience in leading large-scale, strategic or cross-functional learning projects from concept to completion.
- Strong business acumen, together with excellent consulting, influencing, facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to connect learning strategies with frontline performance and measurable business outcomes.
- Insurance or financial services qualifications or licensing-related examinations, such as IIQE, MPF, FLMI, CFP, FChFP or equivalent, would be an advantage.
- Learning, behavioural, coaching or facilitation qualifications, such as NLP, DISC, MBTI, counselling, professional coaching or LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®, would also be an advantage.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems, digital learning technologies, data analytics and AI-enabled productivity tools is preferred.
- Excellent command of spoken and written Cantonese, English and Mandarin.
