In this role, you will lead a team to deliver high-quality, cost-effective IT system operations with a strong focus on performance, reliability, and service continuity for the Company.

 

What the role is ?

  • Lead, develop, and manage a team to provide professional and timely IT operations support across all business functions.
  • Ensure smooth, uninterrupted IT operations at all times including system backups, restorations, and disaster recovery (DR) readiness. All incidents must be recorded and followed up appropriately.
  • Maintain high availability and performance standards of all critical business systems for end-users.
  • Oversee timely and accurate execution of data patching activities across systems.
  • Manage the accurate and prompt transfer of program source code into production environments.
  • Coordinate with IT teams to execute batch jobs aligned with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles for various systems and projects.
  • Evaluate, introduce, and implement emerging technologies and methodologies to improve data center efficiency and business systems management.
  • Monitor and ensure the completeness, accuracy, and timely updates of all operational documentation, including operational procedures and System Operation Manuals.
  • Oversee the management of self-managed data centers, ensuring continuity, security, and environmental compliance.
  • Provide end-user support and conduct training sessions as needed.
  • Assist in budgeting processes and ensure all operational spending stays within approved limits.
  • Support ITIL service management functions, including Problem Management, Service Continuity & Availability Management, and Knowledge Management, ensuring all practices and documentation are up to date.

 

What we look for ?

  • At least 10 years’ total working experience, 5 years of which in leading / operating IT platforms, such as UNIX, preferably in financial industry and with 3 years’ supervisory experience.
  • Professional qualification in ITIL foundation preferred.
  • Diploma holder or above, preferably in Computer Engineering.
  • Team leader and good team player, agile, capable to embrace change and drive for quality deliverables.
