What the role is :

  • Act as a proactive and passionate business partner across full spectrum of HR functions including, but not limited to strategic workforce planning, career planning, performance management, rewards and recognition, employee relations, engagement, leadership and organizational development.
  • Manage and deliver talent acquisition and retention activities of assigned portfolio and to ensure timeliness and cost effectiveness in the process.
  • Partner with line managers in monitoring the performance management process and identify key performers for succession planning.
  • Support business units in the implementation of manpower plan, ensuring that the operational and succession needs of responsible portfolios are adequately met.
  • Execute and implement the development and delivery of cultural change plans and interventions.
  • Support the team to collaborate with stakeholders to champion HR initiatives and implement HR strategies, polices and best practices effectively.
  • Ensure human resources practices are in compliance with statutory requirements. 

What we look for : 

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration, Human Resources or related disciplines.
  • 10 years of experience in HR business partnering / HR generalist role, preferably with experience gained from financial services / insurance industry.
  • A confident and competent business partner with the ability to build and maintain constant rapport with the business at a strategic level and be hands-on when required.
  • Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset, excellent ability to work under pressure and independently with good time management.
  • Demonstrated business acumen to drive organizational and people-related strategies and practices.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels, and build relationships with a range of stakeholders to drive organizational change.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to analyse data, understand trends and develop recommendations for action based on the analysis.
  • Well organised, highly structured and logical in providing HR advisory.
  • Strong knowledge in Employment Ordinance and relevant regulations in Hong Kong, and applicable related policies and laws.
  • Good command of spoken and written Chinese and English.
