What the role is?

  • Strengthen remuneration governance by defining monitoring routines, controls, and exception reporting for variable compensation
  • Track compensation performance versus sales/distribution KPIs, deliver regular variance and productivity insights, and drive 1–2 improvement initiatives per year to enhance channel effectiveness and business quality
  • Develop and maintain a rolling 5-year variable-cost budget plan, including assumptions, sensitivities, and variance explanations
  • Conduct market and competitor research to recommend compensation strategy directions and new initiatives
  • Identify gaps and opportunities in compensation structures and recommend enhancements aligned to performance and risk controls
  • Support the design and delivery of an enhanced compensation system, including requirements definition, user testing, and change adoption
  • Worh with a small team to design, implement, and monitor approved strategies/initiatives, including delivery timelines and post-implementation impact tracking

 

What are we looking for?    

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent
  • At least 6 years of experience in compensation design and payout operations, or sales promotion/campaign management (including agency distribution models)
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills
  • Strong numerical and analytical capability, with clear communication of insights to non-technical audiences
  • Solid experience in business analysis, planning, coordination, and execution in a project environment
  • Exposure to global/regional governance and local market execution (e.g., adapting regional standards to local practices) is a plus
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate effectively
  • Comfortable adapting to change and leveraging technology/tools to improve processes and reporting
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English, Chinese and Putonghua
