About the role
To perform legal and company secretarial functions and ensure the Company’s compliance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, and statutory requirements.
What the role is?
• Organize Executive Committee meetings of the company, including agenda preparation, minute-taking and meeting logistics arrangements.
• Perform company search and professional analysis for fulfilling relevant statutory requirements.
• Conduct legal research, provide legal advice and analysis.
• Review, draft and negotiate legal, insurance related or commercial documents independently.
• Provide legal advice on the activities and issues of the company and its subsidiaries across various areas of law and lead and manage legal projects independently.
• Act as liaison with external law firms and represents the company in court or tribunal proceedings or legal negotiations.
• Assist with company secretarial duties and ad hoc projects as assigned by supervisor(s) from time to time.
What we look for?
• Hong Kong qualified lawyer with relevant Hong Kong experience.
• At least 4 years’ post qualification experience preferably in handling a broad range of general commercial, company secretarial, insurance and / or investment matters.
• Strong drafting, analytical, interpersonal, communication, time management skills.
• Good command of spoken and English and Chinese.
• Self-motivated, highly committed, well-organized, detail-oriented, able to work under pressure and independently.
• A proactive team player with a strong sense of responsibility and growth mindset.
