What the role is?
1. Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and manage the Elite Life Planner Team, fostering a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and high performance.
- Set clear performance objectives, provide regular coaching and feedback, and manage the professional development of team members.
- Collaborate effectively with the leaders of the New Life Planner, Leader, and Training Admin teams to ensure seamless integration and support across the department.
2. Strategic Training Program Development & Execution
- MDRT Advancement: Design and implement an intensive, results-oriented training and coaching curriculum aimed at significantly increasing the number of Life Planners qualifying for MDRT.
- High Net Worth (HNW) Specialization: Develop and deliver a sophisticated training program focused on equipping planners with the advanced skills needed to attract, advise, and service HNW clients.
- Productivity Enhancement: Create and manage targeted training programs to support the Life Planner Club's member tiering system, boosting productivity at every level.
- Industry Award Preparation: Spearhead specialized training workshops and coaching sessions to prepare and guide Life Planners in winning prestigious industry awards.
3. Product & Compliance Oversight
- New Product Launches: Act as the training lead for all new product launches, partnering with product development and marketing teams to ensure the sales force is proficient and market-ready.
- Advanced Product Knowledge: Conduct ongoing training to ensure the entire agency force maintains a deep and current understanding of our full product suite and its competitive positioning.
- Compliance Gatekeeping: Serve as the department's primary gatekeeper for compliance, ensuring all training content and delivery methods strictly adhere to industry regulations and internal company policies.
What we look for?
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in a training and development role within the insurance or financial services industry.
- Demonstrated success in leading teams and designing training programs that have led to measurable improvements in sales productivity and performance.
- In-depth knowledge of the life insurance sales cycle, financial products, and the regulatory landscape in Hong Kong.
- Professional certifications such as FLMI, CFP, FChFP.
- Direct, hands-on experience coaching sales professionals towards MDRT qualification.
- Proven expertise in developing and delivering curriculum for HNW client advisory.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, and good command in written and spoken English and Cantonese.
