We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented talent to join our Underwriting team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the successful delivery of system enhancements and operational efficiency initiatives for our life insurance business.
What the role is?
- Support the implementation of new product launches and enhancements to life administration systems.
- Assist in improving Point-of-Sale (POS) capabilities for distribution channels.
- Participate in operational efficiency projects, including process streamlining, digitalization, and straight-through processing initiatives.
- Prepare comprehensive test plans and detailed test cases.
- Collaborate with end users and IT teams to gather and communicate business requirements.
- Analyze existing workflows and processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure system functionalities align with business needs.
- Provide support for ad-hoc tasks and project-related activities as required.
What we are looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
- 1–2 years of experience in junior business analyst role, preferably with exposure to digital POS platforms, operations-related projects or insurance industry experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a curious and open mindset.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese; Putonghua is an advantage.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite including Power Apps
