What the role is?
- Assist the Delivery Lead in managing and coordinating production releases for new product launches and product Day 2 enhancements.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, internal IT teams, and external vendors to gather and analyze business and functional requirements.
- Ensure consistency and alignment in implementation across various platforms.
- Work closely with development team and validate the implementations meeting defined requirements.
- Define and relay system requirements across related development teams, including upstream and downstream components.
- Evaluate solution options based on effectiveness, cost, timelines, and quality.
- Review business requirement and functional specification documents.
- Coordinate and support communication, planning, and execution of User Acceptance Tests (UAT) and Implementation Verification Tests (IVT).
What we look for?
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related disciplines.
- Minimum of 8 years of IT experience, with recent experience gained at insurance sector.
- Solid experience in launching and managing life insurance products, with a strong understanding of proposal and illustration, product features implementation in core life administration systems.
- Hands-on expertise with product engine platforms for insurance product setup (preferred).
- Proficiency in Java Microservices, cloud environments, and Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban.
- Experienced in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and engage effectively with both technical and business teams.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Fluent in both spoken and written English and Chinese.
