What the role is?

- Develop and maintain product pricing models using actuarial tools to enhance product cycles and support product feasibility and approval (including indicative pricing and preliminary assessment).
- Generate insights and recommendations; propose and implement improvements to pricing processes, analyses, reports, and documentation.
- Coordinate with actuarial teams on pricing assumptions, methodologies, results, and required information.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and distribution channels to support business initiatives, including (but not limited to) RBC analysis for new and in-force products.
- Review user requirements and solution documents for system implementation (new product and day-2 projects); support UAT when assigned.
- Supervise, guide, and coach junior team members to ensure quality and knowledge development in actuarial/product/insurance areas.
- Support ad hoc actuarial and product projects as assigned and highlight product risks and financial improvement opportunities.
What we look for ?
- Bachelor’s degree with fellowship (or near fellowship) of a recognized actuarial society/institute.
- Minimum of 4 years of actuarial experience in the life insurance industry; experience in Pricing, RBC and/or IFRS 17 is an advantage.
- Strong actuarial, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with good attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, responsible team player; able to work independently and under pressure.
- Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel); knowledge/experience in Prophet and/or VBA is an advantage.
- Good command of English and Chinese; Cantonese preferred.
- MS Office, particularly Excel; experience with Prophet is an advantage.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Good command of spoken in English and Chinese (Cantonese is a plus).
