About The Role
Assist and provide support to Head of Compliance, Assistant Vice President and Associate Director of Compliance Department for ensuring the compliance and regulatory requirements are fulfilled, and liaise and co-ordinate the compliance matters with business counterparts independently.
What the role is?
General Compliance
- Provide solid and practical advice to support business and channel initiatives and review relevant materials prepared for internal and external stakeholders
- Support establishment and enhancement on general compliance related framework and implement relevant reviews and controls
- Support review of compliance risk assessment and compliance polices / procedures
- Prepare / review training and communication materials on general compliance related matters
Outsourcing
- Provide sound and practical advice on outsourcing related matters
- Revamp and implement Outsourcing Policy and maintain outsourcing framework, including reviewing Evaluation Forms, monitoring outsourcing-related reviews and providing feedback to relevant parties independently
- Conduct regular outsourcing compliance review for HK business operations and non-HK business operations.
Others
- Conduct gap analysis on new regulations, regulatory changes and / or outsourcing and liaise with relevant parties about action plan
- Maintain proper record and prepare regular management reports
- Prepare / review training and communication materials
- Organise compliance-related training workshops for business counterparts and/or the Company when necessary
- Provide support to Assistant Vice President and Associate Director of Compliance Department on an ad-hoc projects and tasks
What we look for?
- Degree holder, preferably in the disciplines of Business / Accounting / Law
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in handling compliance matters, preferably gained from an insurance company or financial institution
- Responsible, proactive with attention to details and be able to work independently
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with different counterparts
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
- Computer literate, including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Powerpoint
- Basic AI knowledge
