What the role is?
- Provide compliance advice on regulatory requirements and compliance controls in relation to product, data privacy and corporate governance matters;
- Render support on the company’s launch of new life insurance products and revamp of existing life insurance products by conducting compliance review on product and sales materials to ensure all relevant internal requirements as well as regulatory requirements are properly complied with;
- Develop/update relevant compliance policies, procedures and control framework on product, data privacy and corporate governance for ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations and rules;
- Liaise with regulators and follow up ongoing enquiries from regulators especially on product and data privacy matters;
- Prepare reporting to senior management and relevant committees;
- Deliver compliance training to staff; review and update relevant training materials;
- Participate in and handle ad hoc projects/tasks assigned from time to time
What we look for?
- Degree holder, preferably in the disciplines of Business / Accounting / Law;
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in handling compliance matters, experience in insurance companies for product compliance is a must;
- Solid compliance knowledge on data privacy is definitely an asset;
- Responsible, proactive with attention to details and be able to work independently;
- Able to provide constructive compliance advice;
- Ability to work under pressure ;
- Strong interpersonal skills and good communication skills;
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
