About The Role

 

To support fund administration on ILAS product and other investment accounting duties. 

 

What the role is? 

  • Responsible to manage sub-ordinate for daily operation of Investment-linked assurance scheme and mirror fund, includes but not limited to daily fund price calculation, fund subscription/redemption, fund switching, cash management, new funds set up, corporate action and dividend reinvestment, etc.
  • Support policy administration system maintenance and enhancement
  • Assist in system checking and advise IT for system entries fixing when errors occur
  • Handle month end closing for ILAS and investment accounting, includes journal entries review and reconciliation
  • Liaise with auditors for ILAS annual audit  
  • Support Finance department for ad hoc projects related to investment accounting
  • Prepare various investment accounting reports to internal and external parties
  • Support UAT for investment accounting system enhancement 

What are we looking for? 

  • University graduate majoring in accounting or finance related disciplines
  • Professional accounting qualification
  • 6-8 years’ experience in fund administration, preferably gained from ILAS in insurance industry
  • Sound knowledge in reporting for insurance investment accounting, e.g. deposit accounting, IFRS9
  • Experience in CIES financial reporting is a plus
  • Strong PC skills in Excel
  • Proficient in eBao and Sun Accounting is preferred
  • Knowledge in Calastone and Clearwater is definitely an advantage 
  • The final position level will be determined based on the hiring manager's assessment
